A warm and heartfelt welcome to the Minimally Invasive HPB Course. We are delighted to have you join this intensive two-day program designed to advance your skills in hepatopancreatobiliary surgery. With expert-led teaching, live demonstrations, hands-on training, and interactive learning, we aim to offer a truly comprehensive educational experience..

Day 1 – Liver & Biliary System

Our program begins with an in-depth introduction to the essential principles of liver and biliary anatomy, along with the latest insights in diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive approaches. The sessions will include:

  • Overview of liver segmental anatomy and biliary tree structure
  • Interpretation of imaging modalities and intraoperative decision-making
  • Techniques in laparoscopic liver resections
  • Minimally invasive biliary procedures, including choledocholithiasis management
  • Hands-on practice with simulation modules focusing on suturing, dissection, and anatomical orientation

Day 2 – Pancreas & Advanced HPB

The second day shifts focus to pancreatic anatomy and advanced HPB interventions, featuring detailed discussions and demonstration-based learning of:

  • Pancreatic ductal anatomy and variants
  • Management of acute and chronic pancreatitis
  • Approaches to pseudocyst drainage and necrosectomy
  • Laparoscopic and minimally invasive pancreatic procedures
  • Complex HPB case-based decision-making

Faculty-Guided Learning

  • Interactive lectures with key takeaways
  • Case-based discussions highlighting practical challenges
  • One-on-one mentoring during hands-on sessions
  • Evidence-based insights into modern HPB practices

Their collective experience will ensure that each participant gains clarity, confidence, and refined skills in minimally invasive HPB surgery.

We look forward to two days of enriching learning, meaningful interaction, and valuable skill-building. We are confident that the knowledge and practical expertise you acquire here will significantly enhance your surgical practice and contribute to improved patient outcomes.

Warm regards,
