It gives me great pleasure to introduce the SMART Center, a premier destination for advanced academic and surgical training. The College of MAS, the academic wing of the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI), has established this world-class School of Minimal Access and Robotic Surgery Training Centre at Chennai. AMASI has consistently been a pioneer in laparoscopic education, training surgeons of excellence from India and across the globe.

SMART introduces an all-new training format with strong emphasis on extensive hands-on experience. The objective is to help surgeons perform laparoscopic procedures with greater confidence and precision. Courses range from basic laparoscopy to highly specialized programs, all meticulously designed by reputed national faculty.
